Convert documents offline on Mac with Yuzu Drag

To convert documents offline on Mac, use the original app when page layout matters. Yuzu Drag offers local, text-based conversion from Finder. It creates another version of the document, but complex layouts can change.
Use the document's app first
Open the source in its original application and look for Export or Print. The macOS print dialog offers Save as PDF for a fixed-page copy. Review the page range and paper size before saving. TextEdit can open supported text documents and offers export or save choices appropriate to the opened file.
This route gives you a chance to inspect fonts, page breaks and tables before creating the output. For a submission, contract or designed brochure, that visual check matters more than avoiding a dialog.
Available conversions
Yuzu accepts text-oriented sources including DOC, DOCX, RTF, RTFD, HTML, TXT, ODT and MD. The available wheel omits the current source format. Output choices on this page are:

Treat these as conversions of document content, not exact replicas of an authoring application's renderer. Complex layout may change. Keep the editable source for revisions.
Convert from Finder
- Select the source document in Finder and begin dragging.
- Tap ⇧ to open Convert.
- Move over the desired output choice and drop on its wedge.
- Complete any options shown and inspect the new file in its receiving app.
The conversion runs on your Mac and creates new files rather than replacing the source. Test a representative document before applying the same choice to a large batch. Check accented characters, lists and any embedded content that matters to the reader.
