Drag and drop app for Mac: file actions in Yuzu Drag

A drag and drop app for Mac puts file actions close to your selection. Yuzu Drag offers Copy, Move, Rename, a temporary Float shelf and optional uploads. For a simple transfer between two visible folders, Finder is often enough.

Start with Finder

Open the source and destination folders. Copy and paste a selection to duplicate it, or move it with Finder's move command when you want the originals relocated. Finder also has a Rename command for a selected batch; review its naming mode before applying it.

A temporary shelf helps when the destination is not visible yet. It holds a selection while you navigate, rather than acting as a backup or a permanent filing system.

Choose an action deliberately

Copy, Move and Rename have session-only Undo. This is not a substitute for a backup, and it is not an undo history that persists after quitting. Review the destination and rename preview before applying changes.

Open Actions

  1. Begin dragging files in Finder.
  2. Tap ⌘ to open Tools, then tap ⌘ again to reach Actions. Folders and mixed file types can open Actions directly.
  3. Move onto the desired wedge and drop.
  4. Choose a destination, inspect the rename preview or complete the sharing confirmation as applicable.

Upload needs your own bucket configuration. It is not storage supplied by Yuzu. Filebin links are public to anyone who has the link, expire according to the service and should not be used for confidential files. Both choices use the network; ordinary local actions do not require sending files to a hosting service.
